I know it might look like I'm just about to build a massively heavy structure onto paving slabs, but fear not...Those slabs are laid onto an 8" think layer of wackered hardcore thathad been down for 2 years before even the slabs had been laid on top. In the meantime it had had a mini excavator regularly driven over it, so its not going anywhere!
